Benissa ist eine Stadt an der Küste von Alicante, mit einigen kleinen Buchten und dem historischen Zentrum mit einem kosmopolitischen und mittelalterlichen Geschmack.

Die 4 km lange Küste von Benissa besteht teilweise aus Klippen, kleine Buchten die mit Pinien bewachsen sind. Diese Küste führt durch einen Öko-Pfad mit verschiedenen Abschnitten, der fast das ganze Jahr hindurch begehbar ist, das milde Klima an der Küste von Benissa ist beständig.Benissa hat eine Küste die vor allem aus kleinen Buchten und Steilküsten besteht. Die Küstenlinie von 4 km Länge der Gemeinde hat Buchten aus Kies, Steinen und Sandstränden, viele Buchten sind zum Tauchen und Segeln geeignet. Der beliebteste Strand ist der von Fustera, da gibt es unter anderem ein grosses Sportangebot und Spielplätze. Die Stadt hat eine imposante Kirche, welche sich lohnt anzusehen sowie eine schöne Alstadt mit einem Kloster.

Wer der Sonne und dem Strandleben entfliehen möchte, der findet dazu im landeinwärts gelegenen Benissa die Möglichkeit. Im schönen, gepflegten Altstadtkern des Ortes schmücken schmiedeeiserne Balkone und
Fenstergitter die Häuser. Häufig entdeckt man in den Fensterbänken alte, handbemalte Kacheln.

Moraira

The former fishing village of Teulada is surrounded by almond plantations and orchards. There are two sandy beaches which offer water sports (Jet Ski and Paddle Boats). At a distance of approx. 6 km horseback riding is possible. The separate settlements along the cost road are located on a towards the sea softly sloping mountain range. In each case shopping possibilities and restaurants can be found in 1,5 km distance.

Partida Moraira: beach and town centre in 2-4 km distance.
San Jaime: mainly quiet hill side, approx. 1 km distance to the sea.
